Former President Donald Trump said Saturday he expected to be arrested in connection with the investigation. Manhattan District Attorney next week, and therefore called for protests.
In a social media post on Saturday, Trump said of himself, “The leading Republican candidate and former president of the United States will be arrested next Tuesday.”
“Protest and take back our country,” he wrote.
